Dina Varpahovsky was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and lives and works in the UK. Since graduation from Central Saint Martins in 2012, Dina’s work has been selected for a number of nationwide prestigious prizes and awards including Clyde & Co Community Art Project 2012, The London Group Centenary, Worcester Open 2013, WAC Open 2014, Exceptional Art Award at Collyer Bristow Gallery and Barbican Arts Trust Group ArtWorks Open in 2017. Dina is a co-founder of Cross Arts Projects (XAP), a London-based collective of cross-disciplinary artists whose projects tackle contemporary social, political and cultural issues. XAP projects have been shown at Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects space, Whitstable Biennale Satellite programme and ArtLicks Weekend. Dina completed her MA Fine Art studies at City and Guilds of London Art School in 2016.
